She gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths, and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7
From the time zero since I said Hello World1, something which is not so clear to me is the "purpose" of this website. Well, my guess is that you are asking the very same question now. So if you are adamant and really want to know the answer , I'll tell you. "Hmm... I don't know". But let me tell you some thing else. Let me tell you about the source of my original motive to create this site.
Well, it is a short and simple story. My then boy-friend, now hubby put up his web site online. That is when this idea of having a personal web site might be sort of cool fascinated me. So I decided to make one for myself. But as soon as I started making it, I realised I really didn't know what to put in here. Neither was I aware of the use of such a space in www. Nothing much has improved in these two fronts. But, I just thought I would put in random things which I find nice and let it evolve. So that is how it all started.
As the time rolled on, lots of things happened. I got a job, I got married, I changed cities/jobs. So did the purpose and content of this website undergo different metamorphisms. I used this site to market myself, find new jobs, network with people. (I am too lazy to be in blogosphere, since I find maintaining a blog is too much of a bother). So my current best answer to the big question is that this few bytes residing in a web server(apache) might help me in projecting a cool image of myself (ego-booster), attract the attention of prospective employers and talk with people whom I can share knowledge and resources.
To make the short story even shorter, this might be the best way for me to say "Hello World".
